PRODUCT
What is linen?
Linen is the fabric woven from the fibers of the flax plant. This millennial textile has been used by ancient civilizations since its first discovery — around 36 000 years ago — and has proved to be of many uses! Hypoallergenic, absorbent and eco-friendly, linen will keep you cool during summer and warm during the colder seasons.
Where do your fabrics come from?
The majority from Turkey, but we also work with several manufacturers from Europe.
Your products are made in Turkey or Canada?
Both! All linen products (kitchen accessories, tablecloths, aprons, napkins, etc) are made in Montreal. The other accessories are made by local craftspeople in Turkey. Özge designs these products with collaboration of local artisans who then start the production process.
Do you make custom orders?
As we are a small team and already very busy with current workload, unfortunately we do not make custom orders. However, we invite you getting in touch with us, if we find a moment, we would love to make it possible for you.
My bath towel doesn't absorb much water, is it normal?
No! Please note that they will become absorbent after a few washing. The more you use and wash them, the more absorbent they will become.
What is the OEKO-TEX certification?
OEKO-TEX is a label certifying that the different textiles and fabric you buy have been tested, and contain no toxic products harmful to health or the environment! We are proud to use only OEKO-TEX certified linen for the creation of our products, so you can be sure that what you purchase is good for you and your loved ones.
How is linen different from other fabrics?
In addition to being hypoallergenic, antibacterial and resistant to odors, this eco-friendly fabric with many virtues has been adored for millennials for its durability. To learn more, visit our blog post that outlines the 10 reasons to use linen goods at home!
What is linen's lifespan?
Your linen items can last you a lifetime! Indeed, the more you wash the linen, the more supple it will become and become softer. Its resistant fibers also contribute to its longevity.
How is linen made?
Linen is made from fibers derived from the stems of flax plants. When processed, they are transformed into linen fabric, which can then be uses to create long-lasting home goods such as tea towels, clothing, napkins, tablecloths. etc.
