We’re hiring: Boutique and Studio Assistant

Confetti Mill is looking for a new person to join the boutique!

We would love to find someone welcoming, attentive, and comfortable with customers to help us mainly on Saturdays. The selected person will help with customer service, receiving orders, product presentation, and a few simple workshop tasks.

Tasks

• Welcome customers and assist them with their purchases
• Answer questions about products, materials, and care
• Process transactions at the cash register
• Keep the boutique clean, pleasant, and well organized
• Restock shelves and displays
• Check inventory levels in the boutique
• Receive orders and verify the products received
• Help set up new products in the boutique
• Help with small workshop tasks such as folding, labeling, and preparing products
• Assist with various tasks related to the smooth daily operation of the boutique

Requirements

• Comfortable serving customers mainly in French but also in English
• Strong customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a small team where tasks can vary
• Retail experience is an asset
• Knowledge of Shopify is an asset
• Interest in textiles is an asset

Details

• Part-time position, Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Possibility of adding hours depending on our needs
• Start date: as soon as possible
• Boutique located in Hochelaga, at 4799 Sainte-Catherine Street East, Montreal
• Training provided
• Employee discount
• Hourly wage to be discussed
• Trial period planned
